Events are time-limited playable scenarios based on battles from The Horus Heresy where at least two factions are competing to add exclusive content to the game.
Being one of the main competitive Battle Modes, and the best place to get Cards, understanding HOW to play correctly in Events is fundamental for all Players to become better at the game (learning how a Faction works and play through the Event will make you win more, which in turn will let you use the rewards gained to buy cards of said Faction to make better Decks, which will make you reach higher Rankings, and so on so fort).
To participate in an Event, you must be in a Lodge, and spend 1 or 10 Tickets for each Event run. Any match played in one will also count towards your Daily Missions track (only the changeable ones), Achievements track and Recruit milestones.

In each run, you'll have a maximum of 12 wins or 3 losses to play, and receive a Crate reward (x1 or x10) indifferent of a "full" win or a "full" loss. At 4, 8 and 12 wins, the quality of the reward Crate will "upgrade", and the items given will better (12 wins will also guarantee a Ticket). Because of the time spent for each run, is always recommended doing a x10 Event run instead of a single one.
Each won match in an Event will give you points (called Event Points), which accumulate with the points of all other Lodge members (in the Lodge Chat, you can see how many each member contributed next to the yellow trophy). This will determinate the "Lodge reward Crate" (the quality of it) when the Event ends. This Crate "upgrades" after each point milestone is achieved, with the golden one (25,000 point reached) and onwards, guaranteeing 1 Legendary Card and at least 2 Tickets.
A victory will give you 10 points (100 if using x10 Tickets) and a loss 0, however, being a Veteran Player, will net you 50% more points in any Event, so you'll win 15 for a victory (or 150 with the x10 Tickets).
In the Event window you can find:

- A brief summary on how Events work (for new Players), or an explanation on the conflict the Event is based (the Lore aspect of it).
- Name of the current Event.
- Tickets to spend. Could be x1 or x10, and this changes only the amount of points and Crates you receive after each run. Daily Missions give you 1 "Free" Ticket to play (and you can "save" up to two of this) if you win 3 Ranked/Practice Battles.
- A display of where the battle is taking place (you won't see it if "Particle Effects" are turned off).
- The amount of days left for the current Event to end.
- Display of which side is currently winning. Click to see the winnable options.
- The amount of points your Lodge accumulated. Click to see in which position (points wise) your Lodge is at that moment.
- Display of the points track for you to see how well your Lodge is doing and which Lodge reward Crate you'll win when the Event ends.
- In here it will notify if you must join a Lodge first, or if you still need to win 1 match to be able to gain the reward Crate.
Events will normally last two weeks, but there might be cases when one is "extended" for a certain number of days (for whatever reason). During said time, new Warlords will be added to the Event as "reinforcements" for you to choose (could be more of the same two Factions, or from others depending on that Event lore history).
Event Crates[]

The main "objective" of Events (for a Player) is to get cards, Currencies and Cosmetics through the Event Crates.
Even if you lose all matches in an Event, you'll still win the "basic" reward Crate (1 or 10, depending on the Tickets spent).
For earning the "Lodge reward Crate", you must win at least 1 match in any run.
Event Goal[]
The main "objective" of Events (as a whole), or "Event Goal", is to add new Cards to the game. These will always be divided in two options (usually the "Loyalist" side and the "Chaos" side), are focused on the playable Factions of that Event, and which one "wins", is determinate by how many points all Players earned while playing with a Warlord from that side. Basing them in a battle (lore wise) of the setting, they might add new Cosmetics, new Cards (can be Tactics or Troops, and/or different versions of the same one), or new Warlords (could be one of two different Factions, or the same Warlord but with different abilities). This leaves Players the "option" to choose which card will be added.

Event Warlords[]
Events might have "unique" Warlords for you to choose that can only be find in that particular Event. They are usually a Troop (with Warlord stats and abilities) or a "new" one altogether.

These Warlords will not be added to the game, so you can only play with them if the Faction from where they're from is "participating" in the Event scenario (lore wise).
Playing an Event[]
As with any Battle Mode, how is it played remains the same. How you construct your Deck however, is different:
First, you'll need to choose 1 Warlord (out of 4) from one of the two sides (choosing from one of those two sides, is what determinate which Event goal is added). You can see what each can do before selecting your preferred one.

Second, you'll have 3 options of 3 cards to choose from to add to your deck, 10 times (till reaching 30 cards). These will be (usually, but might not) of two from your Warlord Faction, and one of the Neutral Factions (in any case, is always random, and you can click in any box to see the cards). With the "Reroll" option, you can change your available 3 options for 3 new ones by using Gems, and each time you do the price multiplies by two (25, 50, 100, 200, etc.), but resets (to 25) when you choose any of the 3. Unlike "normal" constructed Decks, there's no "Rarity limit" of the cards placed in your Deck (you might have 4 of the same Legendary), and this is tied to your "luck" when given the options.

After all of that is set, you can begin playing normally, and in this window you can see:

- Click to see your Deck.
- The amount of losses left for the Event run to end.
- The amount of victories you earned.
- The quality of the (personal) Crate or Crates you'll earn when the Event run ends.
- Click to search for a match.
Those are the basics of any Event. To become better at them, realistically, is only achievable by gaining experience with the game, and learning the intricacies of it.
Notes[]
If you have any problem during an Event (you didn't earn the correct Crate, for example), reach out to the game Support (this LINK).
If an Event goal is to add a new Warlord out of two different options, the Warlord that "loss" might reappear in another Event, or be added, and winnable, through the Battle Pass.
